Get your driver’s license in 5 steps
Find out about the individual steps from registration to the final practical exam.
First of all, you have to choose a class B driving license and decide and register for your driving license training with us. You can do this either in our branch during our opening hours or you can register online. For this you will need your ID card and possibly your parents if you are not yet 18.
After you have received your contract and the application form for your driving license application for a class B car driving license from us, you still need:

proof of an eye test,

a first aid course,

a passport photo and
-
the application fees to apply for a driving license at your city's driving license office.
The subsequent processing of the driving license application takes approximately 2 – 8 weeks.

You can start the theory lessons while your driving license application is being processed.
The number of theory lessons for your car driving license varies depending on the class. For example, for a B car driving license, there are 14 units of 90 minutes each, which are divided into 12x basic material and 2x class-specific additional material for the car. You can complete the units in any order.
Depending on your level of learning, it is possible to start driving lessons parallel to the theory lessons.
Once your driving license application has been approved, you will receive a letter from TÜV.
You can now book your theory test. In this letter you will also see the TÜV fees for your tests that you have to pay.
In order to take the TÜV theory test, you must have completed all of the required theory units. We also need to make sure that you are well prepared for the theory test. You can either prove this with an exam simulation in your branch or show your learning app status.
For your theory test, simply contact our branch.
If you would like to start taking driving lessons for your car driving license, please contact the branch. If available, you indicate your desired driving instructor and the times when you have time for your driving lessons.
The employees of our branch will pass on your driving lesson request and your driving instructor will contact you within the next two working days with suggested dates.
Then you start with your first practice driving lessons for your class B car driving license.
In the basic level you will learn how to operate a motor vehicle; in the advanced level we will show you how to drive safely, proactively and in an environmentally friendly way. In the advanced level you will learn how to deal with difficult traffic situations and deepen what you have already learned. Then there are the special trips (overland, highway and night trips) and the exam preparation.
A few weeks before completing your car driving school training, you and your driving instructor submit an application for the practical test.
Our employees in our branch will then request an appointment for your driving test and will give you this once it has been confirmed by the TÜV.
If you have passed the test, you will usually receive your car driving license straight away.

This is completely individual and depends not only on the waiting times for permits, driving license applications and tests, but also on your progress and the time you can invest. As a rule, you can expect 2 - 6 months.
Actually, you only need your ID card so that we can compare your data. If you change driving schools, you should bring proof of training from your previous driving school so that your achievements can be credited.
When you register, you will be required to pay the basic fee and the costs for the online learning system. This will cover the first part of your driving school training. However, you are also welcome to find out about our current prices.
After all the required theory lessons for the driving license class have been completed, the driving license application has been approved and you have either taken a test simulation at your driving school or worked through it in the Click Click Drive app, you can register for the theory test.

Basically yes! It is best to contact your colleagues on site. They can check whether it makes sense, depending on your level of training and waiting time for a TÜV appointment (which we cannot influence).
That depends on how much capacity your desired driving instructor has. Basically, the more flexible you are in your daily routine, the more you can drive. For example, you can spontaneously step in for a canceled driving lesson

You can purchase these at any time in our store.
Please note that we usually always plan double lessons for you. Accordingly, you should have at least 2 driving vouchers ready before starting the driving lesson.
The Class B driving license includes training and testing with a manual transmission. The Class B197 driving license includes training partly for manual and partly for automatic. The test is taken with an automatic transmission. Afterwards, however, you can drive both.
The free apps do not contain all official questions, do not have an integrated exam simulation, e-learner, etc. and are therefore not suitable for exam preparation.
